They Do Studio is a queer-run wedding photography studio led by Issy Connelley and Lekhena Porter.

With backgrounds in fashion and editorial photography, we approach weddings with a strong visual focus while staying attentive to what unfolds naturally. Our work balances considered composition and natural light with the candid moments in between, capturing the day as it feels rather than staging it to fit a template.

We work primarily on shooting film and Super 8, choosing these mediums for their texture and restraint. The emphasis is on atmosphere, connection, and the people present, not on perfection or performance.

We’re not interested in wedding clichés or over-styled detail shots. Instead, we focus on the rhythm of the day and the relationships at its centre. Our approach is shaped by care, trust, and the belief that couples should feel comfortable, respected, and genuinely seen.
